Eventbrite’s Creator Workspace is where event hosts create and manage events published on the platform. As a core pillar of Eventbrite, it supports both basic and advanced workflows for running an event. Over time, new features and pages were added to the navigation to expand offerings for creators, guided by the assumption that greater access to features equaled greater value. While this approach empowered experienced creators with a robust toolset, it led to significant information-architecture challenges. Navigation became bloated, the system lacked a cohesive, holistic design, and the experience grew overwhelming for both new and seasoned users.
This work focused on auditing the existing information architecture, identifying opportunities to consolidate and reorganize pages, introducing a guided event-creation flow to surface features more strategically, and adding interaction patterns within the navigation to better differentiate and clarify workspaces.
